the super scope for the SNES could kinda be like a snpier rifle. Also I think a funny weapon would be a hot cup of coffie ( GTA SA hot coffe mod )

I know this may be beyond the scope of the game but what if when you jump on a train or bus (some mass transit) you enter your destination as GOTO ******. In reference to basic, that came on just about every 8bit computer system (and even the VCS).

I know you think the zapper shouldn't be in the game, but it coudl be used like this:

It's a super-secret item you get from the hobo (who should definitely be in the game, see the plot/script sticky i think.)

It doesn't do any damage to anybody, but there are birds flying in the sky, and you can aim and shoot them with it. And they fall down etc. Like a 3D duck hunt.

(Maybe it only has 3 bullets?)

ACTUAL IDEA!: And when they fall down, they leave behind any money, item or informative note they may have previosly eaten. This would give you more ways to garner the things you need. Like this:
GTP, A Hunt For Information Mini-game wrote:*Ben shoots down a duck*
Ben: Yes! This one contained a potentiometer that Spongebuell said I could use to replace the Atari paddle! Here ROB, store this in your chasis...
ROB: Are you sure it won't explode?
Ben: Positive...
*Puts Pot in chasis and explodes when they leave the mini-game*
Ben: Looks like it had a sensory explosive! Hahaha! It's a good thing I brought my heavy-sixer armor, eh, ROB? ROB?..
That would rock my sox.

Fanboy, think realistically. Every idea you've come up with ends in a cutscene.

That would be so boring to play :P

You do play games though, right? If you know what you like in a game you can make those suggestions. We don't want this to turn out like the Video Game Project that the CAD characters worked on. All that work and in the end it never happened.

That means I can't speak levels and playmodes, etc. It would be impossible to type videogames. I simply type the cutscene-script for certain areas so that the Weaponry/Tools thread fits neatly in with the script thread. I try to figure out ways to include the posted items into the game so they're not just there to fill space.

*sarcasm* And maybe the DS can battle the PSP with TWO disk drives!

Seriously guys, not every console that can't be portablized has to be weaponized.

The DS has no use beyond playing games on it. Perhaps it could raise your energy level. Or perhaps we don't need to include every single console ever made in this game!

Xbox 360 = time bomb.
Set it somewhere, turn in on, in thirty seconds it overheats and explodes.

The original PS1p without a disc cover drains life with laser radiation!

The XBox 360 is rumored to have that heat problem in the early release models. I have heard it from several people, including a person who claimed to be an XBox 360 Beta Tester (whose daughter supposedly works in Microsoft's Production area), but I can't confirm.
Warranty-Voiding fun!
