Ok, I was jumping the 2 pins to turn on the psone (the push button has 4 pins but only 2 are actually used) and I think I also touched ground. So the 2 pins to turn the psone on got tied to ground....I think, and it no longer works. when I try to turn it on the lcd goes darker then when the psone is off...so there I think the psone is atleast doing something. The green led does not go on. I tried jumping both fuses...but it still dosnt work. Any ideas as to what is wrong? I am so close to finishing...to fry it now...well that is just sad.
They each say 20 on the top...are they capacitors?
Also, if someone has a multimeter and a psone motherboard can you check and see if there is continuity between the 2 sides of the one closest to the C in caution (upper right in the picture)?
I checked both the ends of the power up led (the green led on the motherboard) and both sides have a negative charge. Any idea what could cause that? Anyone have any ideas?
i think those things in the pic are transistors if they have three leads (the pic is blurry). as for the fried board, im not sure if there is anything you can do.
I'd imagine right now you wish you were a cuttlefish...
