Questions

Post by gamefreak11 »

Is there anyway I can order the engraving plastic needed in the book online some where? I have no local trophy shops.

Also, where it says the pinout for the controller behind the baige plug, do I solder the wires there? It seems too small to solder. :?

Thanks for the help

How much did it cost you? The auctions I see going aren't so cheap.

Is this a good deal and will it work okay for a portable?

Sorry to bump this, but I really need a response.

How exactly do you connect the wires to the controller board? Is soldering the only way? I'm not good at it, especially something so small.

I've got that exact same plastic, it's kinda thin for what you need. you might want something a little thicker. and yes you do need to solder those wires on. i desoldered the connector on mine and stuck the wires through the holes and then soldered them. also, get some really thin solder and some flux, if you dont already have some, it'll make things easier. i use .015 dia. 1.0 oz silver bearing solder from radio shack. i think the solder is item # 64-035 E, incase you are ordering it online.
