Plus it's Japanese, It can't even play NA disks when it comes out >.< Thats like importing a PS2 from Japan when you can't read Japanese. Totaly useless....

and I know that it is japanese only but I thought it was cool that somebody has one already, the pricetag is heafty though

How do you record to it? There isn't a Blu-ray rom or anything, seems like a waste of 4 grand for the player and disc.

thats why we have computers with a radeon 9800 pro plus a dvd rw drive and thats even cheaper :D

As far as I know they aren't even released yet, so thats probably a display or demo unit that some employee found it and is trying to make some cash.

I htink Blu-Ray and Hi Def are just a waste of money. They make it seem like all other TVs are useless. I use a $15 black and white TV to play x-box

Let's just say by the time people can actualy afford a Blu-ray player or a HD-DVD player everything will cost a hell of a lot less. Just remember back whe the first DVD burner for PCs came out, they were in the $500 range, now you can get one for $50.

Also look at normal DVD players. When I got mine it was $200, now I can go pick up a really nice, small one for under $50.

Yes, probably so. Even if, no CD is worth 400 dollars.
