If the macmini has firewire, go for a firewire interface rather than a USB one. M-audio make some really nice interfaces...

enroll in college to get a student discount. My Mac mini with bluetooth, wifi, and 1.42 GHz was about $600-$700.

No offense, but paying the thousands of dolars tuition will sorta outweigh the couple hundred dolar computer... :P

I'm thinking of getting a mc mini for my Birthday..........i could use one because my skool uses macs, and i want garage band.......my skool uses it and i never get songs done...lol....unless i can find a leak of Mac OS X for intel X86.............or unless they release it officialy :)
