grr, i desoldered the power jack at the back now it wont do anything!
the light comes on and acts normal, but nothing on screen!

BLIMEY!!! Didn't realise Paul was only 11 years old, thought he was about the same age as me. I feel REALLY REALLY old now.
When I was 11, I was building things that explode. Was cheaper than getting another game for my Mega Drive (console games were £30 THEN!)
I've often found if people spend less time worrying about what someone the other side of the world has posted on an internet forum and more time getting laid, they'll be a lot less tense.
