I tried a Micro, it felt like I was trying to play games on a Tic-Tac box. SP hands down.
But I can't use the SP for any extended length of time either, but it's still far less uncomfortble than the Micro.
(oh and watch out for long links next time, OK? It gets a little annoying when you have to scroll side to side to read what people type.

NES SP, atleast you can play Gameboy gams on it if you feel nastalgic. Micro is really for lack of a better term "stupid novelty".

I was atually considering using a micro (once the price goes down to like $20) and somehow attaching it with the smallest gameboy pocket/colour with a normal GBA screen to create a GBX that runs all the gameboy games (GB B/W through GBA)
So it's not stupid novelty, it's actually a great system to portablize (well not portablize more than frankenstein into other portables)

Having rather small hands I can actualy play a micro but for now i'm not gonna get one, tho I will most definatly pick one up once they get down to around $60 just because with my GBA flash cart I can play old NES games on the go.
The one thing I do really like about the micro is the faceplates. You scratch up the screen, you just pop the old cover off and put a new one on and wala. Good as new.

I don't have really large hands either, but I still prefer the old big handhelds (Atari Lynx, Sega GameGear) over the small modern ones (gba, gba sp, gb micro, psp, nds). For some reason the big ones cause a lot less discomfort when using them for a prolonged period of time.
But to get back on topic, I do prefer the NES SP, simply because it's bigger than the micro. I do own a SP, just not the NES edition.
