Shouldn't you have posted this in YOUR "good deals" thread and not make another thread but that is a good deal you got.

Regards

Mine has long past the first page so I consider it dead.

My need for something I'm gonna try and do was 733 mhz with 128 ram, so only thing under expectations was CD-ROM (I want DVD-ROM :P)

Good deal Jeff. You got any plans for it? It would be perfect for a MAME setup(almost any machine is really...)

None of you can beat THIS awesome desktop deal:

66MHz 80486DX processor
49MB EDO memory (don't ask)
Ancient 5 pin keyboard
Serial mouse
5.25 inch floppy drive
3.5 inch floppy drive
Some obscure ISA cards with indistinct purposes

Found the thing on the side of the road :P I put in an old CD-Rom drive, but I can't seem to get any hard drive working. I did manage to get a 200MHz Pentium MMX installed though, so thats one good thing.

I got this for free a few weeks ago:
Pentium 3 533 (133mhz FSB)
DFI PA61 REV.2 motherboard
64MB PC133 RAM (upgraded it to 256MB PC133 which I also got for free :D)
32x CD burner
52x CD-ROM player
3.5" floppy drive
SB128 PCI
10/100Mbit broadcom ethernet adaptor
16MB ATI Rage Pro AGP 2x
No hdd unfortunatly, but I still had a 40GB and a 10GB disk lying around and I found out the floppy drive controller on the motherboard is busted, so was the CD burner.
So actually I got a free pc without a CD burner and floppy drive, but anyways, it runs Ubuntu Linux without too much trouble :P
I will eat your brains!
yay, my blog!

They're a chain, if thats what your asking.

Savers is fairly big, Value Villages are usually smaller. (In store size)
