If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.
i might use this lcd fomr my carPC, its a 15" xga lcd propblem is it doesnt take normal vga or dvi input, it has, as far as i can tell, a proprietary plug, on the wire is DDC BD and the words tae yang it has i think 21 pin holes here are some pics
the plug soesnt look like a scart connector, and the profile 4 is much newer than the profile 2 i have. far as i can tell it is proprietary thanks for trying anyway
found out some, it uses a silicon images chip (siI154)on the computer mobo to controllt he lcd, it uses the panellink portocal or whatever, similar or the same as DVI or here is data on the chip http://www.digchip.com/datasheets/parts ... SII154.php still trying to find other information
I've got one out of a Profile 2. The interface is LVDS and is NOT compatible with DVI. The board is identical to the pic you have posted.
I couldn't see the plug pic as well for the cable end. Someone makes adapter cables for the cables and has pinouts....I just can't find the url. If I find it I'll post it....might be a good reference. Good luck and post results.
