I'm gonna go re-look at the pics of the ps2p's guts after this, but I had one question. Does the actual game disk cover thingy ( http://www.i-c.bz/Clear_black.1.jpg ) have any wires? Also is it detachable? I have a few more questions for later. (Yes I am a newbie at making portables. I plan to first try and make a ps1p an d maybe a snesp first, but I would also like to know this infromation for later)

The only things the cover does is protect the disc from dust and objects damaging it, the laser possibly being emmitted and causing someone eye damage, lastly is the cover depresses a buttion telling the system the lid is closed so it knows there is a disc to load.
