Random Gameboy Question

Yes it is nice to be able to put your projects INSIDE something isn't it? You know, to hold everything together so it doesn't flop around? Discuss the techniques here!

I know this is pretty random but does anyone know the internal dimensions of the original gameboy case/shell?

5 1/2" long, 3 1/2" wide, and the thickness goes from about an inch near the screen to about 1/8" between the controls and the battery holder. but if you cut out the cartridge slot and the battery holder and replaced it with a flat piece of plastic you could get about 1 1/4" clearance inside the case.

im sticking a goac and a hipgear screen in my gbo case. i think instead of using the internal battery holder im just going to mount a battery pack to the back of the case. then ill have some extra room inside the case.
