PSone cd thing mod

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

I need a way to have the CD just lay on the spindle (or whatever you call it) instead of click down.

Well I would say the best and quickest way to do that is just remove the springs and barings that are in the hub. Though I can understand why you would want to do that. It just results in your cd easily falling off when bumped, picked up or fliped up-side-down.

Unless he finds a way to use one of those magnetic caps that tray loading drives use :)

I know this sounds ridiculos, but I'm attempting the PSone cd changer.... dunno where that idea came from but I got really bored on turkeyday.

use the chartriage kind cd changer it wont skip

I could, but the scrappable ones need car radios (we have a lot of those lying around) and most of them are hard to deal with. I could rip apart a crappy one or I could rip out my dad's sony.
