I got it! (starts to make a PCp) (project cancelled)

Post by daleighan »

I finally got the motherboard that I will use for my PCp, and it is so tiny. I will have pics up soon, but right now, my camera isn't working :x . Also there are a few parts that I need and were wondering if any of you have them and would be willing to sell them to me:
-10-20gb laptop hard drive
-Very small wifi adaptor that works with windows 98
-PSone Screen
PM me if you can sell me these things.

don't go with a psone screen, go buy a little lcd monitor, that will save you a lot of pain from trying to connect a psone screen to a pc.

the mobo doesn't output composite. Actually, I decided that I will sell it because the MSRP is like 300 bux and I got it for like 70 bux. On to the GCp.

Why not sell it for $300 then buy it again for $70? Rinse. Cycle. Repeat until ready to build.

There was only one left at the store that I got it at. My friend actually already bought it from me for $250! Wow that was a quick source of money!

Not to be a spoil sport or anything, but how do we know you even got one? It seems kind of fishy that you got a $300 computer for $70, then your camera didnt work, so you couldnt take a picture of it, and then all of a sudden you sell it 2 hours later, and abandon the project completely. Also, you havent mentioned what kind of computer it was or wear you got it. I appologize if this sounds accusatory, but its strange thats all.

On his defense, he did mention ordering a PC/104 motherboard. Being rather obscure, it is sometimes possible to find the things for very low prices. People just don't know what they're looking at.

my camera broke a while ago. Go to that other post and look at the mobo that I had (its posted somewhere). My friend bought it for no apperant reason, kinda wierd but owell, I made money to fund a GCp and NESp, which was the original intention of the project that I was going to do.

Yah, I just bought my PSone screen on Ebay. Actually, I might use that to fix my SNESp which has a fried screen.
