Worst way to die...
Sorry for all the useless topics lately but I have some much on my mind, sometimes I think I have add but I lose inerest...
Question:Whats the best way to start off the new year with talk about death? Nothing that's what. So...what to you is the worst way to die? Mine would be buried alive or they think I'm dead and I come back to life (eerie) and realize there's no way to escape and I only have about 15 minutes left of air left to live on. It sends shivers down your spine I know.
So what do you think is the worst way to die?

I would have to say anything that is prolonged and painful. Like someone systematically breaking every bone in your body before actually killing you. Yep, that would be the worst.
In fact, my worst fear is someone breaking all of my teeth one-by-one. Believe it or not, the thought of this will actually keep me up at night from time to time. I start thinking about it and can't stop. It might stem from a time when I had a couple of teeth removed when I was younger (they were removing the last couple of baby teeth before giving me braces) and they didn't anesthetize part of my mouth well enough and broke the tooth while taking it out. I still remember the feeling of them breaking the tooth.

Re: Worst way to die...
The funny thing(okay, not really funny) is that before EKGs and other life monitoring systems came around, many people were accidently buried alive. If somebody went into a deep coma, or their pulse and breathing became to minimal to notice, they were presumed dead. Eventually people realised this, so for years when a person was buried, a string running inside the casket(through a small hole) was attached to a bell above ground. In the event that a person did wake up, they could pull the string and hope that somebody would hear it ringing.cowsgoquack101 wrote:Mine would be buried alive or they think I'm dead and I come back to life (eerie) and realize there's no way to escape and I only have about 15 minutes left of air left to live on.
It's also funny that you you made this topic(once again, not really funny). For the last month or so, I've been asking people "if you were going to commit suicide, how would you do it?", and I've had some very interesting replies. I was going to post the question on the forum too, but never got around to it.
I think one of the worst ways to die would be to jump(fall, get sucked/pushed, etc.) out of an airplane at high altitudes, because it would first blow out your ear drums(extremely painful), then make your lungs explode. If you did somehow survive that, you'd better hope that you're above deep water, because you'll keep moving for about 200 feet. That would be one wicked ride though!

How bout being decapitated in a car door while your car is being flipped over by a mac truck. This actually happened to my friends teacher.

If someone would cut your limbs off for whatever reason, you would probabbly bleed to death in uder 3 minutes. And bleeding out isnt that bad of a way to die. ive passed out from blood loss due to an accident (i wound up stepping on a piece of cubed glass and punctufing an artery in my foot). Basically you start to go numb, then your hearing goes out and all you hear is running water. Then you just get tingley, light headed, then tired. If you loose enough blood quick enough, your brain cant respond to the pain your nerves are sensing.
Drowning does suck, but its not the worst. I thing burning to death is. If you are in a fire and you die from inhaling the smoke, the smoke itself is probabbly going to be hot enough to char your lungs. If you are in direc flame, think about how much it sucks to get boiling water spilled on you, now imagine that all over. Since the fire is creating smoke or using up all the oxygen, you suffocate as well. So its like drowing, but with assloads more pain.
Falling off a really large structure like a building isnt bad, unless you survive. Unless you know how to land, or are REALLY lucky, you shouldnt survive a fall from 60 feet. If you jumped off a 6 story building and landed on your back, there is usually enough force to sever the majority of your spine, including the C-Spine (from the base of your skull to the lower neck) which will either paralize or kill you. If you landed head or face first, you probabbly wouldnt feel the landing.
I agree with Nos about the high altitude stuff. That would just suck ass. You would probabbly be dead before you hit the ground from drowning. The high altitude would make your lungs collapse, and your chest would fill with flud, probabbly blood, causing you to drown before you hit the ground. If your lungs dont get f-ed up from the pressure change (low flying plane) the terminal velocity for a human is arround 120-140 MP/hr. Imagine hitting the ground at that speed? That would be one hell of a ride, then SPLAT! You probabbly wouldnt feel it. The insane adreniline rush from suicide jumpers usually causes a heart attack before they hit the ground. They are usually in full arrest before they go *FWHAP* if does happen.
Being stabbed with stuff to death and things of the sort is more of a form of torture, instead of accidental death. There are LOTS of ways to torture people so they slowly and painfully die. Dont get me started on that... i can go on forever with fun and intresting ways to let the copulate suffer. Like make their limbs rot off their body, and feed it to them. Yummy.
Im a big fan of human anatomy, and my g/f is a nurse, so I know quite a bit on the various bodyly functions and systems, how they fail, why they fail, and what happens if and when they do. Fun stuff.

What about a really dull utensil? Or even a saw? I've read that you can still see, and blink after being decapitated for around 13-20 seconds. It's until your brain dies from a lack of oxygen. Anyway, my vote has to be crucifixion. Not trying to bring in a religious thing here, but I think that would be unbearably horrible. Not only do you have to bear the shame of being displayed in front of everyone (probably nude), you are dying, and you can do nothing about it. The intense pain of having your entire weight supported by your wrists, and ankles would be incredibly painful.Radon199 wrote:Mine would have to be having my head cut off with a really really sharp sword. I think the images of seeing your body standing there without a head as your head falls to the ground would be really freakin scary.
How may people have actually been able to prove this? Not that im trying to say that its not true, but how many people have come back and said "Yeah! I so saw my head hit the floor!" lolRadon199 wrote:Mine would have to be having my head cut off with a really really sharp sword.
