72 pin connector

Post by Joes2Silly »

im sory if this is a old thread but, I was trying different ways to fix my 72 pin connector ( pulling up the pins and soaking it in soapy water for some odd reason) and does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix it :?:

Tomato Juice. Soak it overnight. It really eats away gunk and leavs your connectors pinkish! :P

Lemon juice will do the same thing but not leave as much residue.
Both work because of their acidic qualities.

I like the "orange" spray cleaner that you can get about anywhere. (I got mine at the dollar store). I use it on the pin connectors and to clean game cartridges, it works really well!

Those are two great tips, maybe I could start running my nintendo with the cover back on finally :D

I bet taco bell spicey sauce would work too, it cleans a penny pefectly in under two minutes.

Soaking the whole connecter in lemon jucie overnight won't do anything to the plastic casing?
