making a psp form a psone... HELP ME!!!

hy there...

i know you for a long time!
i saw your interview one day in a playstation magazine, about your works...
well, i've got a pretty old playstation, but is still working... i have a portable tv too and batterys when i was thinking that i hadn't any problem and i could start working some s*** happens!!! i don't know why my psdrive doesn work!! its everithyng all right and the connections are well!! can i use anoter cd-drive? (like the walkmans??) pr could you tell me what can be the drive problem ??
please help me!!!

Idon't think you can replace the drive but I'm not sure and could you explain what exactly is not workin.
And you didn't use the right forum this is about the book and not very often used you should have postet in playstation 1 32bit
So mod please move
and goodluck building the Ps1p

... never mind!!
well, my ps problem is that my drive its not working!! i thinked that was the cable that connected it with the motherboard and i changed for other that was in REALLY GOOD state... well my ps is still not working and its getting into my nerves!!!! another question... my version os playstation is not the PSone version... is the big one, so i want to connect it with a battery but the playstation aint no 9volt connection (as the litte one) where do i get such a powerfull battery? is using a portable pc batery right? if yes how do i connect it to the ps?? i really dont wanna give up, so please help me!!!!
