It seems like all of a sudden everyone is having large avatars, and it's squeezing into the message space more and more. Please check yours, and make sure it's less than 175 pixels wide, about. Certainly no more than 185. Height doesn't matter as much, just don't make it so long a single post takes up most of your monitor's height

(maybe 250 max, I'd say)

If you need to check, right click on the image, and click on "properties"

I wouldn't go much bigger than this, but for a maximum I recommend 150 wide by whatever tall avatar, and maybe no more than 150 tall sig.

Another quick issue about breaking barriers. When you post a link, please use the [url=link goes here] [/url]method rather than pasting the link right into the message. It gets annoying having to scroll back and forth to read people's posts.

I think I've seen on other forums they had a limit to the size of avatars...is it possible to add that feature to these forums and therefore we wouldnt have that problem

we have that feature but it only limits uploaded avatars on this site, not imageshack or anything like that

I'll admitt the diable avatar of mines was a little large, but only one person complained. If someone could take it shrink it down about 25-30% I'd switch it over after Christmas when I'm bringing it back.
