Black friday

I just back from vacation and i didnt see a thread about black friday, so ill make one.

I was up at 5:30 standing in the Staples line (best buy had nothing good on sale) and i got

$30 200gb hd
$15 microsoft wireless optical mouse
$15 512mb sd card
Free Laminator
Free Remote

Was anyone else up at 5:00 or so buying electronics.

I live in Canada and I am so pissed off, Canada totaly needs a black friday. Maby after I compleet my training at VFS next year i'll get hired to go down to the US. Heres hopeing...

My little brother got a PSP at Meijers for $200. Had only hdad to wait in line for 3 hours too! Lucky sob... My other little brother got Star Wars: Battlefront 2 for only $13 at meijers. He sowed an ad from K-mart and Meijer sold it to him for that price. That was pretty cool, becuase K-Mart was likely sold out.

I got nadda.

I stayed home on Black Friday.

And for good reason. Several people in Massachusetts and New Hampshire were <b>beaten and trampled</b> in Wal Mart to scramble for bargains! There were people making side trips to the SPORTING GOODS SECTION of the store to pick up GOLF CLUBS AND BASEBALL BATS to use as weapons! There were ambulances at several local Wal*Mart stores that day. It was in the paper.

There were some fights at Radio Shack in my town; around 75 people showed up for wireless headsets and the store only had 3 in stock.

I got up to see the rush, although I didn't dare try Walmart. I've seen people beating others with shopping baskets and hurling others into shelves, its not a pretty sight. So I stayed away from Walmart, and went to Target where I got a Dremel for $20. I went with my dad to Office Max where we got a crapload of free stuff. Black Friday is always so much fun.

Anybody else see the irony in the holiday known as Thanksgiving? I mean, we're supposedly thankful for what we have, and then the next day marks the beginning of the most commercialized and materialistic holiday of the year. We're crazy.

Up at 3:30am...got to walmart by 4am. waited on line til 5am (me and my father were the 20th person there). They said they had 30 laptops. We walked in, one at a time...and the mother f**kers failed to mention that the employees also bought laptops too. They only had about 4 available in the end....

I really hate walmart!
