Super 8/Tri-star NES-to-SNES converter

Post by d33pthawte »

i'm sure someone out there has heard of one of these NES-to-SNES converters which allowed you to play your 8-bit NES games on your SNES. i just recently heard about these things-and was intrigued-so i searched...and searched...and searched. all to no avail. so i had to ask myself, is there another way? tell me if it's possible to wire a card edge connector,(such as found in the NES gamegenie) to the bottom end (game edge) of the SNES game genie. i realize that there aren't as many pins on the connector for the SNES. so what would it take? any input would be great. thanks.

You cant just plug a NES game into a SNES and voila. You'd need some crazy NOAC/NES thing that processes the NES game criznap, and sends all of this to the SNES. AKA, its not happenin'.

The Super8/TriStar were not converters. The Super8 has an NOAC and the things just used the controller ports and A/V inputs for the system. The TriStar does the same thing but it has a whole SNES-mini motherboard in it. Again your not going to do what you want. You can wire them all together and make a super system, but your not going to have something with one cart slot that runs all three.
