i need to know wat a mod chip is and wat does mame means

mod chips allow you to use illegal/imported games on your console, MAME is a pc program. It stands for Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator. it's an arcade emu.

a mod chip is a chip that adds funtionability to something, like removing region lockout or allowing for homebrews. Mame is Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator. It basically allows you to play (most) arcade games on your PC.
