no, Kanangea's right, you can't play multiplayer with GBA games, only with DS games. that's why I'm still keeping my gba sp.
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

actually I think the official name is Nintendo Developer's System, but Dual Screen is still a name for it.....

wasn't there an argument before as to what the ds stood for in the name?
I'd say just leave it at ds where people don't have to worry about what it means :)

At the risk of revitalising the argument, I would like to say that it is definitely Dual Screen, not Developers System as Nintendo would have you believe. The original prototype was called the Iris. It had a single, non-touchable screen, and had 3D capabilities. However, the 3D capabilities were supposedly quite advanced, and the Iris may end up being the true successor to the Game Boy Advance. Anyway, Nintendo eventually decided to give it two screens, and started calling it the DS. When they started telling developers about it, they changed their mind and called it the Nitro, symbolising the huge impact in the market it was meant to have. That's why Nintendo said it would probably not be called DS - it had 3 different names already and they were still thinking up new ones.

It wasn't a joke. Nintendo has been stealing the dingos handhelds for ages. The gameboy was originaly the game-jimmy (jimimy being the baby name for kangaroos I think)
