Well I was looking through Radio Shack and Digikey's web sites. While i was their I thought I'd see if I could find some better prices on the electrical parts that are needed for portabilizing.

Ok this is a very interesting and useful ebay store but to make it worth while you pretty much have to be from the US and buy in bulk because the lots are 10 per lot and you can have any of these resistors in these lots, their all 1/2 watt and 5% tolerance Carbon film

Just wanted to let you know that he is a super-nice guy, will ship quick, and if you get everything you need at once, he'll combine your shipping into a very reasonable price. Anyone know where to get cheap slide switches? They are like $1 each at radio shack. And I dont want to spend $25 on digikey.

I would suggest eBay (unless you're only looking for 1 switch, then I'd just get it locally to save on shipping). I would try to find a seller that has multiple things that you want, and see if they combine shipping. (for example, I got 200 tact switches, 20 headphone jacks, and 8 speakers on eBay for less than $9 total w/ shipping). try a search for "spst slide switch" and you should see some pretty good deals pop up (I think I saw one where a guy was selling them for $0.10 each!)

a good way to find places to gets stuff from is getting stumbleupon for firefox and when you set your preferences, select "electronic parts"

If you try the Stumble Upon pluggin, download a previous version. A lot of people complained about bugs in version 2.1.

sorry about the lack of updates had a few things on the go In real life

also just got my PSone screen in the mail off of ebay works fine no adaptors or anything but was only 31 bucks usd shipped to ontario.
