Do you have an xbox?

You could always just share the files on your PC and get to them from XBMC, if you've got a network set up and your xbox is modded.

I would say that the two are based in very different worlds, and so we won't see either dying out.

The portable is based on learning the HARDWARE. Learning how to shrink it, how to make it run more efficiently, that kind of thing.

On the other hand, the emulator allows one to learn the SOFTWARE ...

Dude, getting rid of your DS right now would be stupidity. The flood of good games has begun. Castlevania, Trauma Center, Nanostray, Lost in Blue, Advance Wars, Nintendogs......Right now is the absolute BEST time to have a DS.

I too have a PSP. Personally, my setup is this:

PSP with 1.50 firmware
512 MB memory stick
Logitech Playgear Pocket case
Whole mess of emulators and the like

It's not perfect, but it certainly gets the job done.

I use EPSXE, myself. I got it off of a site that included the BIOS, so I can't help you in the searching for it. Great program, one of my favorites. It can take rips of the games(generally referred to as ISOs.), or it can play the game itself from your CD drive.

Though I have quite a bit some videogame music.
I got some of the minibosses, some metal metroid, and those songs Spark sent me.
(Though very little of it beats Radiohead's O.K. Computer CD. :D)
Nice taste. I'm a huge fan of the Jet Set Radio soundtrack, myself.

Re: PSP is Out, What Now?

So the PSP came out. I don't think I have enough money to get it. Is it good, bad, too big, ect?

I'll tell you when I get mine.

First thing I'm doing with that little device of beauty is slapping a video file or two on it. I should have SOMETHING under thirty megs if I plan right.... Then, I ...
