Ok thanks. The white part was part of the motherboard, that I pulled off, so you probably won't want it, nes man.

The clamp is both brown and white, the brown part is what opens, and the white part stays on the board. Sorry, whats a mobo?

I think I figured out whats wrong. I was messing with the snes and found that one of the black, large square components that said sony and nintendo on top was shorted out. All of the leads off three sides were for some reason, all connected to each other somehow, so I must have fried this chip. I ...

...I figured it out. I pulled the whole clamp off the board when I took the screen apart, instead of opening it... Suprisingly, the screen did work fine for awhile after i pressed the clamp back onto the board. The screen is ruined now, I bought a new one.

Snes audio problem

I am building the hand built snesp in ben's book and it is almost done. All i need is to get the audio working, and I will close it up. The sound used to work, then suddenly quit working. I have connected my snes to two different psone screens, and it won't work with either, so I think the problem ...

THe other two work fine when it is not connected. What is making the led flicker? I think if the leads on the led were touching ...
