Well I had taken off the header connector on the PSOne before, and put in a 6 pin header so I could just use a CD-Rom Audio wire to connect to a header I had put on the the Hipgear screen, so I know the composite from the PSOne should still work. I suppose there is the possibility that somehow I ...

Ok, Stupid Question about the PS0ne LCD...
Ok, I've had to abandon the HipGear Screens, and I'm trying out a PSOne LCD (the fact that it shares the same voltage as the PSOne is a big plus). So I'm hooking it up, and for some reason I can't get any video signal. Anyone know which video signal (NTSC, SVideo, RGB) uses by default? I tried NTSC ...

You can get the hipgear screen to run off of 7.5v, you just have to take out the backlight and voltage increaser for it. After doing that, you will need a light source, such as white leds. The PS1 LCD runs around $75 and up, from what I've seen. You can try using the HipGear LCD/controller; it's a smaller screen though, only 2.6". I picked it up at Fry's for about $50, and there's a $20 rebate apparently (I just need to send it in)

I picked up the HipGear lcd/controller for the PS2 at Fry's for around $50, and supposedly it's got a $20 dollar rebate. It's only a 2.6" screen, but it's got speakers, as well as all the brightness/contrast/volume controls built into it.
A question though, what is the power supply on the Sony LCD ...
