I'm going to be able to buy stuff online, but nonly if it's stuff that's hard to get in stores. That's why my dad won't get me the book until we check all the bookstores *sigh* we should be going this weekend, then I'll study up.

My dad doesnt like buying things online over our computer. Amazon is off limits untill we check all the book stores near us.

I talked to my dad, and I'm in luck, he's got a soldering iron, electrical solder, and most of the other stuff I need :D Now I gotta get the actual components of the portable. He also offered to take me out shopping to try and find ben's book.

It was probably a soldering torch, I don't remember it looking like that. Damn. Thats another thing on my to buy list. I could probably get my dad to buy that though.

Agreed. You really will need to invest in some electrical solder. Plumbing solder doesn't conduct electricity very well, and electrical solder is designed to.
Damn, that's what I was afraid of. Is the soldering iron itself still ok? Or do I need a new one of those, too?

I understand your point, and when I was talking about an indepth guide, I meant moreso for the wiring and electrical work, which I understand barely at all. I intend on designing my own case, or doing the same ZN-40 design everybody does. havent decided yet.
