For some reason I can't get my hacked controller chip to work, could someone tell me if I have it wired right?
Right now I'm just testing it to get it to work, so I have it wired to an NES plug, which I have plugged into my NES. I only have a switch for start hooked up right now.

I have my 12-year old Game Boy that no longer works (even if it did, it has many rows of dead pixels). I also have a Super Joy that I find completely useless! I bought it in July 2003, played with it for one night, and put it away ever ...

Hooking up the controller (the game boy one) is proving to be a night mare! What is What, anybody know? :?:

you pretty much can trace it yourself, but if u want my notes:
on the gameboy controller part all the way from the left hand side are all the traces that go to the controller.

I am working on the same project my self. Just got the Famicom desoldered and wires hooked to it yesterday. Still waiting on my screen to arrive. Anyone have any tips/hints for supplying DC through an adaptor and wiring for Speaker and headphones ? This is my first attempt at this (before I go ...

Alright here's another update, *sigh* okay I could not figure out what was wrong with it so I just powered it with some batteries and it worked fine. For whatever reason it absolutely HAS to run off batteries. I was originally using the wall outlet in an attempt to save battery power while working ...
