I'm not really sure how this item will help out on the n64 port scene.....( not yet anyways )

I too have followed its progress on Dr Neo's site for some time.

Reasons for this:

Seems these days the challenge with most portables is to 'make it as small as possible'

Yes I have read its for the Wii & yes it needs to be plugged into a PC to stream the data.

Hello all

just wondering if someone could post a pic/dimensions of the PCB/CHIP only (taken out of its case) of an OFFICIAL N64 expansion card?

The reason i ask is coz some of the knock off ones are a different size and i lost my official one. Had an idea for a mod and need this info

Hey all-

Had a question that i think could be rather simple but heck, i'll throw it out there anyway...

Situation:

PAL Gamecube - Modded with qoob chip (therefor allows different format games to be played ie NTSC/PAL)

Question: If i were to connect an NTSC PSOne LCD screen to the above gamecube ...

Found some info (not sure how old it is) regarding an N64-on-a-chip controller? did it ever get released?

Thnx kasar - yea - my first attempt at a portable. Not overlly happy with my case (could have made it smaller) - so yea, the next thing i attempt i will definitely machine personally using a CNC/Mill.

After watching the video, I have to say again: very nice. About that cart slot, I'm not sure exactly how secured it is, I hated it like that. Any problems?

Haven't had any probs with cart slot relocation. If you look at one of the above pictures - you'll see the cart adapter very securely ...

Simply use a very simple swith to open and close the 3.3v wire that connects your internal controller board to the MB. That will allow you to select between an external controller and the control board on ur portable.
