Why bother with FreeDOS when it's really easy to get the real thing?

VB.NET isn't expensive. Microsoft gives away the entire .NET 2008 Express suite for free. (It includes SQL Server, VB, C#, and Visual Web Developer.)

And the Mac on Stick thing needs a host OS ...

I've got WinXP on my main desktop couse i have to(and couse my
harddrives are full of crap that i don't want to delete at the moment).
But on my laptop(Thinkpad T60) i dualboot Windows XP(need it couse
my school is using a lot of windows crap like Vb.NET, MsOffice and
other horribly expensive ...
