Size isn't a real point, and i'd like it to be cheap, but i didn't know watch batteries were that expensive.
THough i will go with the AAA's that sounds good. And maybe i'll keep it famicom only to make sure it's easy enough for a first homeade portable, and buy imported super mario 1

Ohhhhh Well my idea of a NESMU failed just a short while after it began, but it is a awsome failure for sure. I'll probobly make a AA version, version then.

OK look i know it sounds stupid, but think. if the AA batteries are 1.2 volt, and cr2032 are 3 volt, so it should take less.

A noac portable that runs on, CR2032 batteries. W00T
