No my football doesn't work.
I have taken the cart apart and it has the same problem as the others.
It is the black case football cart with green lettering.

Please list any carts that don't work on your VCSp.

Hello, I want to compile a list of carts that don't work on everyones portables.

I only have about 50 games and the ones that don't work are:

Football CX-2625
Blackjack CX-2651
Telegames 12 (by sears robuck)

Crapy games, I know, that is why it took a while to notice that they didn,t work.

I ...

no I didn't cut to much. Even Ben has stated that some carts just don't work and I think this is the problem. Check the continuity on your pin 1 after the hac and tell me if it is connected to ground. If not fix it and nonworking carts will work.

I have an unmodded board in my lap and before the ...

a way to increase cart compatability with Bens 2600 hac

I have been wotking of some 2600 multi-carts and descovered a small error in Bens 4x4 hac wich causes some carts not to work after the hac.

I have descovered what causes them to not work and a fix for it.

I emailed this to Ben but got no responce so I will post the fix here.

On the cart port if ...

I am doing the same with some of the parts from the second controller of my superjoy. I planned on doing the same with the switches. Where do you get your momentary contact switches - store & part number? Thanks.

Actualy I snag them from old VCR's. the front panel has several.

I collect old ...

sorry that was me I forgot to log in

I used 2 voltage converters in my VCSp (one for the LCD and one for the VCP. Looks Like you will need several.

Just make sure to isolate the grounds on each and they should work fine.

First of that D-pad looks like it was taken for the second controller that comes with the SuperPowerJoy III.

Also those board etching look nice. How long til you send them out?

Yes, the D-pad is from the SuperPowerJoy III.
I tried several D-pads and concluded that the atari just wasn't atari ...

Also the last post was mine

I'm using the ExpressPCB software, haven't tried their service yet. For prototyping the price seems OK, but what about larger runs?

I use the same software and have used their quick small board service.
They were quick and good quality.

But here is an idea.

Instead ...

Well, I think it is a great idea. And the price is right also.
I have already purchased some of Ben's Cases.
He sold me a SNES case and a PSone case.

I must say that it is well worth the money. The decals especialy finish the projects off and make them look very profesional.

thanks again Ben.

I will gladly etch a proto board or boards for Ben for free when he gets a working design. (if he wants)

I have plenty of copper clad and etchant.

Good luck Ben. I often have the same problems with my breadboard designs not working on the first shot. (I build micro-bots and BEAM bots)
You'lll get ...

P.S.- Would you explain the pain of dual-layer boards over in the Forum 42 then (talking about hand-etching Atari motherboards) ? People don't seem to believe me...

I have etched many dual-layer boards in my tank. It take a bit of effort to line up both sides when you do the transfer but you ...
