I'm starting a Sega Dreamcast Portable and I need to know how much power the thing needs and consumes (V and Amps) Also any problems I might encounter with the Discdrive or anything.

Please help me.

I am starting a new project... An Atari Laptop.

I want to do it with an old Atari computer (not the 2600)

My main goal is to have a computer that would work well as a word processor. And a MIDI writer editer etc.

I'm thinking an Atari ST. Do you guys think that would be to large when I open it up?

I'm serious about this... I have everything wired up just waiting for the case to be cut.

The DS is capable of emulating the NES,SNES,and Sega Genesis perfectly right? It's just the programmers that are lacking correct? So if I waite a little bit there will be improvements?

I want to do homebrew on my DS but I don't have a clue how to do it? Could somebody tell me the best way to do it?

Also how is the DS at emulating... NES, SNES, and Sega Genesis?

I am terrible at desoldering... especially cart slots :shock:

So I just sawed it off really close to the carts. I didn't break anything on the game all I might have done is cut a few traces off. Then again.... I never tested the game in the first place. I was just wondering if anyones done this ...

I chopped off the cart slot on a Sonic & Knuckles game for my project (I literally cut it off with a saw.) And I was wondering if there was a way to be able to play it again (without adding a game of course)

I tried plugging it in but I get a blank screen so I think I might've cut a couple traces ...

It looks like you'll have to take off the epoxy on the chips to somehow wire up a car slot. (Good luck)

Are you sure the games are NES? And personally.... It looks like a little more trouble than it's worth.
