Disc read error. It can read the silver DVD PS2 games, but it can't read the blue disc PS2 games or PS1 games. The problem is, guides always specify to fix this you have to spin the white gear inside of the system. but in my specific revision, this gear is covered.

guide for repairing a scph-30001R ps2?

I've found multiple guides, but none cater to my ps2 (SCPH-30001 R). The difference is that the white gear is covered, even when the disc tray is opened. So how should I go about fixing this?

I don't think I'll need anything with more than 1 slot. Does a 1 slot work with all of the Neo Geo games?

Neo-Geo consolized MVS or Supergun?

At first I was considering an AES, but games are waaaaaaaaaay too expensive for it. So now it's down to these two. Which should I go for? I know that Supergun can play other arcade boards, but apparently isn't as reliable. Plus, I'm know nothing when it comes to hardware, so I hear that you have to ...

Re: NES clones in Toronto

does anyone know if any store in Toronto sells NES clones?
Well, I was in downtown Toronto in September of last year to see PLAY! A Videogame Symphony, and on the same street as the Apple store, there are a number of random electronic/thrift stores that were loaded with NOACs. They were about $20 ...

Can't someone build an adapter that tricks the 360 into thinking it's a 360 controller?

Nope. Also, I recently took it out, and it turns out that the power doesn't come on now either.

Damn. Well, how does it compare with the FC Twin's NES compatibility? Becayse my SNES is also broken, and if this is on par or worse than FC Twin's NES compatibility, I might as well pick one of those up.
