thats awesome. how did you mod the charger so that it worked as a way of mounting the battery? and how do you charge it? im just wondering because i have the same battery, and i wanted to use it. great job man.

id recommend Rayman Raving Rabbids. they're coming out with a sequel to it, but the first one is a lot of fun. its a great game for multiplayer, that's where it really shines.

i might be missing something, but i cant see how you connected the batteries to everything else, did you just solder the wires or did you use clips? please tell me if i just missed it in the picture.

@Jim: alright, i think i get it. so if i soldered the plug onto the battery, id put one jack in the charger, and another jack on the genesis itself so that it all works together. gotcha.

@CronoTriggerfan: so should i just buy that battery for now, and when it starts acting funky i pick up the other ...

but then wouldnt it stop working with the charger because it wouldnt plug in to it? i may be misunderstanding you...:/

alright, i found a battery i think will work, but i dont know how i can connect it to the portable. can anybody help me out? here is the link:

heh, its looks good. its actually pretty much the same thing i had planned for my genesis portable, but i have a portable TV, so i had to abandon that plan because its so big :/. but yeah, lookin good man, cant wait to see it finished.
