I did something similar when I made my top loading NES. I took apart the game genie, pulled out it's edge connector, and soldered that to the NES motherboard. I put it all in an ugly case, and now I have a top loading NES. Works great. I don't much care about game genie, so I felt no qualms about ...

What do I want to do? There's the problem. I love it all. I try my damndest to learn it all. I'd love to get a job that I'm interested in then spend my life learning everything there is to learn. That's my dream. So much fun.
