He's pretty bored of it already but would be happy if he could get homebrew and such on it. I have looked around and there hasn't been a straight answer: how can he downgrade? Tutorials talking ...

When you plug in the headphones, the speakers shut off, right? so there must be a switch somewhere in there. And without the headphone board, the switch remains to where there is nothing going to the speakers. =O

I can honestly say I never used the headphones ;)

OK slight update. I finally ...

There are three pins that require being soldered together.
There is a headphone left pin, a headphone right pin, and a headphone switch. Short them all out with eachother. either with the wires coming out of the wire clamps, or the prongs coming from the clamps. Whichever you choose. And for which ...

Eh? I'm feeding sound in on what should be the correct pins, but it's not coming out of the speakers on the LCD itself.

Sorry if you meant something else can you please clarify, my mind is shot :p

Project Nameless log

Name to be revised ASAP.

Anyway I don't have any pictures yet because the "camera" I use is just a still feature on a camcorder, and therefore is a pain in the ass to set up as opposed to whipping out a camera. However I do have some progress that's fun to talk about

Heh I have to say I'm with Triton, I just placed two bids on ebay for hip gears with screens after seeing how damn SMALL the thing is, I had no idea!

I wouldve loved to use my PSone screen for my current project but the damn fool round board is about 10mm too big! I've been trying to gauge how I ...

I dont see why some solid dabs of decent hot glue wont hold. Obviously white glue over the counter crap won't work. It might be a little flaky because in my experience (I can say, I actually have experience gluing PCB to wood :p), it kind of sucks because the wood is porous yet the PCB is not, and ...

You did a really great job with the bondo. At first I thought it was a gameboy color front (glares at gameboy color; forces self to not grab screwdriver and ruler) on an original back (looks at original gameboy; pukes)

Well THERES another idea done before I had the chance ;)
