Re: Wii-Mote Mod
From what I can see, the main problems will be getting the motion controls to work, and at the same time fitting the analogue stick from the nunchuck into the same controller. On looking at this closer and having taken a few measurments I doubt it'll fit into a classic controller. I'll keep people ...

Re: Wii-Mote Mod
That's where the challenge is, getting the motion sensors in the remote to fit into the controller in such a way that they still work in the correct manner.

Wii-Mote Mod
I love certain Wii games and want to love others, however I hate the Wii Controls with a copulate passion, they SUCK! I would love it if every single Wii game used the Classic Controller Plus, however the games I'd prefer to use this controller... such as my wide selection of Gamecube games, the ...

Re: Is it legal to sell
TornadoCreator, this wasn't a debate. Opinions mean nothing to corporate laws regarding copyright.
I know it wasn't intended as a debate, and I wouldn't want to cause any animosity as I like this community (well spoken intelligent people on the internet, no way) and have been admittedly lurking ...

Re: Is it legal to sell
TornadoCreator, I'd like to ask you where you get this 20% idea. Is it an extension of derivative works? I haven't heard about this, and I'm curious to where you found it.

Re: Is it legal to sell
I would quote sources if I had them, but I learned the information that I had. Meaning over a period of time I looked at various sources of information and took the time to remember it, in the same way as I remember than Athens is the capitol of Greece, I don't have a source because the source is my ...

Re: The New Guy
Yeah, you can get an adapter for the game gear, but it eats batteries like there's no tomorrow and the screen isn't back lit or particularly good quality (although better than the original gameboy I must say). Plus it's not so much about the result but more about the modding itself. It seems like an ...

Re: Is it legal to sell
Right, this is something I bothered to look up quite carefully for various previous projects. Legal issues are often blown out of proportion.
1. It is perfectly legal to create and sell any mod or portable of any console you make, including mods that play multiple consoles.
2. Emulation is not only ...

Re: The New Guy
You know, I assumed that the Master System would be easier as it's an 8 bit console, only has two action buttons and the d-pad (the SNES has 6 if you include start and select), no shoulder buttons and no FX chip to worry about but I'll certainly get hold of that book. Chears, and thanks for the warm ...

The New Guy
Hi. I'm new here and new to the console modding hobby. In fact, I honestly have never modded anything ever, and the last time I worked with wood, plastic or electronics was almost a decade ago back when I was in school. But for a long time now I've wanted to make a couple of hand held mods. There ...
