see i thought it could work cause i use to own a pelican afterglow controller and it was pretty bright although it was blue now if we get a white one and run it around the perimater of the screen it could work althoght you wont be able to see it outside in the sunlight but with most lcds you cant ...

well if you check some of the websites they can run off an inverter to run on batteries and there really small they all dont run on ac and a foot of el wire can run on 2 AA i think thats a lot of power saved check out www.thatscoolwire.com they have a big faq

Bypassing the cathode

IS there a way to jump the transformer for the cathode to make it light up and i just had an idea what if you found a cathode that uses less power but puts out the same brightness as the original or is there a way to lessen the power of one ohh have any of you ever ownd a pelican afterglow not the ...

well that dosent answer my question about can u use the tiny ass light bulbs for those small flashlights there like 3mm u can get them at radioshack i was wondering if those would work

well alumminum foil likes to crease a lot how do i stop it from doing that and where would i place the 4th led would i just place it to the other side

this conection no longer puts out 5 volts i checked it with a mutimeter is there an alternative connection
