I don't fully understand your second question. Are you talking about making a master power switch? Because yes, that would be a smart thing to do.

Re: Quick question about switches! Portable in progress!
Doesn't matter. It can be on the positive or ground, as long as it breaks the circuit.

Re: PSP-Style Joystick Mod
There is both an analog and a d-pad version of the pandora controller. The analog controller is called the pandora pro, while the other is simply pandora. Here's a real review: http://www.techwarelabs.com/reviews/gam ... ndora_pro/.

Re: PSP-Style Joystick Mod
Just a short time ago they were selling on Newegg for $13. This was before I bought mine, but maybe they will have the same price when they get back in stock there.

Re: PSP-Style Joystick Mod
It's a sliding joystick. I know some people hate that, but I don't really mind. It would be much better for a C-button or D-pad conversion than a tilting joystick because it's easier to push it perfectly sideways or up/down. If you read some reviews they're generally quite positive in regards to the ...

Re: PSP-Style Joystick Mod
Which superpad do you have Zenloc?? I have both the two-pronged and more common three-pronged versions, and I could test it later today.

Re: PSP-Style Joystick Mod
Thanks everybody!!!
Siiiiiiick!!!. You are 100% certain that the joystick is fully functional. Moving it a small bit is walking slower and all the is is really fast.
I might use a couple of these for my new miniture 64. Still a psp joystick would be cheaper. Pity the resistance is a ...

PSP-Style Joystick Mod
After researching portables for a long time now, I've become really interested in learning the limiting factors and difficulties of making a small N64p. Clearly, after RCP wiring or board trimming the length and width are two dimensions that cannot be easily altered. And after expansion pack ...

Re: First N64p project...advice/help?
I am going to say this again slowly.
The .....Chinese.....Lie.....
There is no possible way that battery is 3600mAh. If anyone tests it I would guess it will be around 1500mAh-1800mAh MAX !!
Chinese don't lie!!!!!!!! Come on hail... I mean check out this legitimate PSP backup battery pack :roll ...

Re: Is it possible...?
Yes, this through me off at first too. Unfortunately that means that whatever you might have bridged is... bad. I'll look at what it might be in the morning, but if it's 3.3v to 12v then you're pretty much out of luck.Falco wrote:Yes, the light green on a printed board is the circuit wiring, not the dark.

Re: Combining L and Z buttons
Sure that would work fine. Zenloc did it with his N64Mini.
Umm... Not really any disadvantages, besides not being able to press L and Z at the same time. But heck I can barely remember pressing L anyways
. Overall it's a good way to save space.

Re: Battery
Don't shoot for a certain number, fit in as much as you can. 5000 isn't better than 6000 if you have the space for 6000.
I wasn't saying that the battery had to be 5000mAh. I was just saying that space permitting, this amperage would provide an fairly adequate amount of battery life. By all means ...

Re: First N64p project...advice/help?
There actually is a 3600mAh PSP Slim battery. I own it and it came with replacement battery cover to accomadate for the larger size. I got it at Walmart so it's legit  But the point is that using PSP batteries is just not the best choice... You can use the original buttons or tact switches ...

Re: First N64p project...advice/help?
Yes exactly. It is simply a measure to increase battery life. There are guides in the Screen section I think.
No it does not make it brighter. It does make it have less contrast and more "washed out" looking.
