i do sometimes get a disk read error but other times it doenst even acknowledge a disk is present at all.

do you have a pic of where this pot is on the board?

I found the pot myself and adjusted it by turning it 90o clockwise with the gold lead on the right hand side, in case anyone ...

Busted GCN

Hi guys,
after opening my GCN i seem to have somehow broken the dvd drive, when i insert a disk and close the lid it starts to spin up but then doesnt recognise the disk, i have checked all of the connections and they seem to be ok.

Do any of you guys know what the problem might be, its just i dont ...

yeah it was .060, as you can tell im an expert at vacuum forming :lol:

anyway... is there some way to combine sheets cos i could get a .060 and a .020 but nowhere seems to sell .080 in the UK.

.60 Styrene?

Has anyone tried to make case out .60 styrene, and if so how well did it work?

I know a lot of threads recommend .80 but I'm having a really hard time finding any of that for sale in th UK.

Hi guys, this is my first on this forum and i would just like to say that i love all the projects you guys do.

so anyway, i know this is probably a really obvious question but i couldnt find the answer anywhere:
how do i work out the total volts and amps of a bunch of batteries of the same type ...
