I had the same problem with a refurbished 360 i bought from ebay i came to find out i broke the processor die from over tightning the clamps can you provide some pics and what type of board your running?

I go to geeks.com there always buying refurbished goods and they sell em at a low price too.

You must have a falcon board had the same problem but I had the 0002 and 74 error(sometimes it went to 73 weird) but do the x clamp fix with the heatgun and make a clamp for the HANA or just heat gun it (heat gun ftw) also the ram chips too darn falcons lol

Yes I do know what im doing, i mod 360s all the time

Was thinking a lot more while driving home from school and I thought it would be neat to have bezels over the ports 8)
So ive added to the list to make bezels for the power port, ethernet port, and the dvd drive slot

So far ive only done the power port..first i made the design in adobe illustrator ...

Ben inovating up some ideas to create it to the max. so ive decied to make a bottom top cover hub indicator to be located by the keyboard :wink:
Its going to have indications such as HDD activity, wifi status(wifi led),and IR sensor. so the only thins I can accomplish now is part of the hdd ...

Today ive finally finished up my final revision on the av hub, just need to add hdmi port, but ive planned to let it sit since i have 4 other 360s to play and its just goin to be a personal portable so im going with component and composite for now(dont even need vga)

well I looked at the guide, It cant be a power problem you just fixed it !!, check the data pins that has to be it since the 360 actually read the hdd.. a simple situation occured with me it was just that one of my soldered joints broke..good luck

Oh just make sure your 5v is properly soldered same thing havvend to me make sure your using heavy gauge wire the 5v on the hdd port needs 500ma
with the hdd if you didnt solder the data pins right itll just stall with no video
itll restart its self if theres no 5v gettin to it

Im doing a 360 portable with a jasper too I know its the 0001 error i had it when i first had desoldered the power plug there should be two fuses by the power plug check if there still there, the 360 is rhos so bend away (not too hard tho), did you rip any of the pins out while desoldering if you do ...

ah i always wanted to do one of thosee GOOD WORK MAN...why dnt people use the 360 av port for input devices thatll bee niccee

make sure you open the drive up and bridge the open and close pins it disables the open and close action
