E 73 error code
Alright so i have this system, it had started out with the rrod and then some how went from the rrod to the e 74, then now the e 73, i have no clue what is going on or how to fix any of these error codes. I know the e 74 code is the hana/ana chip, and i know that the e 73 error is a general hardware failure, usually of the usb ports. but alas im a noob in repairing these systems. any help would be nice.

Re: E 73 error code
Those error codes can be repaired with the standard x-clamp replacement and GPU reflow 95% of the time.
If you're doing the repair yourself, I would recommend the heat gun method to reflow the chips.

You must have a falcon board had the same problem but I had the 0002 and 74 error(sometimes it went to 73 weird) but do the x clamp fix with the heatgun and make a clamp for the HANA or just heat gun it (heat gun ftw) also the ram chips too darn falcons lol
This is weird I thought the Hana chip was only with relation with to video processes Ill study the traces of my old board tell you what i find out
Yeah its a flash yeah i/o it must of course be like a usb drive recognizes the port interfaces e 74 must be for the video interface and e73 must be for the ethernet interface But overall I think you should do the x clamp fix along with heat gunning the HANA chip of course theres a cold or broken joint in it
