Hi,
I am trying to mod my genesis controller to run on my pc through my parallel port. I used the following schematics to make the connections, and I am using direct pad pro and PPJoy but I cannot get the up and down buttons to work! any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have tried to make one for the parallel port and It was an unsuccessful attempt. The schematics I found online do not work. =( these are the ones that i used:

Yeah, I am using the 7 diodes that the diagram shows. I don't mind that I cut the genesis controller because I don't own a genesis anymore and I only wanted a controller for my PC but unfortunately it didn't work =(
