I'm having the hardest time in the world soldering wires to the board. Because I have to hold the Soldering iron the Solder and the Wire in place I dont have 3 hands. So I really dont see how its possible. I think I need smaller Solder because im using a giant wire and its leaving huge blobs. How do ...

Wasnt there another topic like this where the guy had 3 analog sticks and red and white spray paint? Im looking for it so please tell me where the topic is k thanks.

I think im just gonna stick with spray painting controllers then using a ebay mod service that way there.... I don't massively screw up the internals. I'm Thinking the popular color Blue controller with blue led lights.

Sorry for double posting but would any of these 3mm led lights work in the 360 controller or would it have to be a 5mm...

Yeah I got 1 out of 4 working I think i need to remove more solder for it to operate properly and Very VERY small tweezers.

No I already have another thread describing why. I took off the LED but Im having trouble puting another on possibly because i melted the pad.

Alright so the desoldering braid basically sucks up the old solder so you can use new solder. But isn't there a plunger vacum that sucks it up as well. Different product.

Ok i can do that. But what am i melting then. I thought it was supposed to be me melting the wire to the solder. When i said melting metal i meant melting solder to the wire or melting the wire and solder together. So when i solder a wire to a spot should I be melting the wire or the solder or both?
