My wife had a brilliant idea that I get a huge tattoo (and I mean HUGE!) of the Atari logo on my back as it would blend in with some of the tribal stuff I already have on my right arm.
As with most of my tattoos, I normally draw them on or get her to draw them on with a pen first so I can get an idea as to what it looks like before committing.
My wife draws the logo, I look in a mirror and............... SHE'S DRAWN THE CRAPPY HASBRO ATARI LOGO!!!! I feel so unclean

Wait, so? Isn't it just a test to see what it'd look like?
Ah, so young and so much to learn....
You really don't understand how serious this crime is do you?

Nah, being a nerd is having a T-shirt with the Atari logo on.
I've often found if people spend less time worrying about what someone the other side of the world has posted on an internet forum and more time getting laid, they'll be a lot less tense.
Hasboro basically chewed Atari up and spit it out! Using that logo with the name "Atari" under it around here is blasphemy! It's almost as bad as calling Hobbes a "harmeless little kitty cat"!
Seriously speaking, are you sure you want to get something so big?

OH YES! I'm very sure about my tattoos. I've got six so far and they're all medium to large. My left arm I'm gradually building up into a full sleeve of car/hot-rod related stuff including this:
On my back I've got this:
The Atari logo will begin about an inch below the beard.

Good point. Still it's like a worst nightmare!
One of my other tattoos is a VW badge with flames. It would be like it suddenly changed to a Peugeot, Citroen or Renault logo!

The what does having a tattoo make you? Uber fanboy?
Really a freind of mine just got a Pubisher tatoo on his left fore arm. He printed it out and taped it on the area (after cutting out) to see how it looks. Really it was nice, the classic Pubisher on the fore are looking right at you, esspeally when he's holding a rifle or resting his arm on the car door as he drives.
Try that and exactly how big were you thinking for the Atari tattoo? Like 6 inches tall or bigger?

Well a few people have described me as a "fannie" but it means something completely different in England...

More like 14 inches tall! (I'm a big guy!) The curved bits of the logo go around my "love handles" a bit. It's going to be heavily outlined first and eventually I'll get it filled in as it's going to be very time consuming and expensive. The proportion of the logo just looks so "right" on my back. It's one of those things, when I know something's right, it has to be done!

Just imagine in 40 years when you have 3 chins. It'll be more like:
Someone suggested I should get a tattoo of a VW Bus on my weiner, but I said most of the time it'll look like it's been involved in a serious accident...
I get a lot of people saying things like "What's gonna happen when you're 85 and all your skin's gone wrinkled?"
My reply is usually "I'm proberbly gonna be senile and incontinent - I'll have worse things to worry about than what my tattoos look like!"

Notice the Atari logo on the red background is flared out at the bottom (SO WRONG!) compared with the one on the black background.

For any non-believers of tattoos, my work colleague put it best:
Your body doesn't get any prettier as it gets older - tattoos distract people from the fact you've got "man boobs"
