NOAC progress\ i mean troubles

Post by Dr.Weasel »

Well i hooked up my noac and when ever i put a cart in i automatically get a blue screen like i have the tv is on input but there isnt anything running. If i take the cart out and turn in back on, everytime i start it i get crazy colors or patterns on the screen. If i undo the 30 to 31 wire to enable carts the noac works just like it did before i screwed around with it.

I have done the old floppy cable mod on it and i only had a 60 watt soldering iron that i got for christmas and a 45 watt desoldering iron... i thought i had just fryed the board to peices with it but to my amazement the built in emulator games still work.

I'm wondering if any of you have had this problem. Is it just the wrong wiring, fryed board or somewhere that is shorting out?

Thanks

Actually, I get the same thing. Its wierd because I followed G-force's pinouts, Ben's pinouts, Gannon's pinouts, and deducted my own with a Gyromite cart. It never works, and all I get is a random color, and some squares on the screen.
Please let me know if you figure this out,
