boxing day deals!

well you americans got your own thread for black friday, so i figured id start one to disuss the mad deals that canadians are getting today.

ill start; i got a 250Gb hard drive and 512 megs of DDR400 (no-name brand) for $183 CDN after all taxes and such. im not sure if it was a GREAT deal but it was a decent one. the ram accounted for about $50 of that.

there was also a store selling $15 wireless routers and 8 nimh AAs for 18 bucks, but there was a lineup outside so we skipped over it....

Here is Nova Scotia the copulate government decided it would be a good idea to tell all the stores they couldn't be open today, so now im stuck waiting to spend my $135 on games till tommorow, I demand PSP games!

I got a 20"x60" dvd/cd shelf for $35US, a 160GB HDD for $60US, and umm... that's it

I went with my dad to best buy to get the iPod...

We took 1 hour trying to call them to check stock...
We took 15 minutes to get there...
We took 30 minutes to get a parking spot...
We took 25 minutes to pass through the door...
We took 5 minutes to GET to the iPods...
We took 5 seconds to see "iPod 30GB SOLD OUT, NANO, 60GB, AND SHUFFLE STILL AVAILABLE".

And took another 45 mins to get out of the store, unpark, and drive home.

Lets hope for luck tommorow....

You crazy people and your multaple stores, we only have 1 big electronics store here and it's not even a best buy (ok it's a futureshop and technicly they are the equivilent of Best buy they overcharge you for everything). I gess you could go to walmart but than again, i've had bad experences with Wallmart.

Theres a store near me called bestbyte and I got a 300 gig drive for $160. (This was before christmas) Im going there tomorrow, so I can get some more cheap stuff.
