Game Gear Sound

i got a game gear today 4 games, carrying case, car adaper, Wall adapter and the sound dont work unless it is through the Headphone jack,

Can i fix this i have thought of ways to do so

Sounds like it's just the speakers that aren't working.

replace them with almost any small speaker and see if that works.. the wall adapter not working it a big problem. since the Game gear is a handheld and not a true portable (unless you count the AA eating psu) you can try and make an adapter that fits in the AA slots

i guess i worded it wrong the wall adapter works it is the sound that dont

k well if you cant get the sound to work, just use the sound frm the head phone jack.... but a speaker replacment sould do the trick...

if the problem isn't the speaker itself, wire the speaker to the headphone plug instead of the original spot. if you want to use headphones, either put a switch on the internal speaker or if you plug it into the headphone plug instead of hardwire it, just unplug it to use headphones
