Birghtness and such button changind (need help)

so i am doing an extensive xbox mod, and it will need (or, i wan) to change the look of the buttons of the brightness and volume and whatnot. Can i just take off the buttons and replace them?

and if so, what ones can i use, got a link for me so i can see what i am looking for?

Sure, just desolder the old buttons, keeping track of the 2 points on the board where the pins are/were that are connected when the button is pressed, and wire new ones in its place. to ensure a good fit and placement flexibility, put wires on those points, and hook the wires up to the new button. As long as it's a normally open button (most are) you should be fine. If you can attach it well, any console button should work, though they are harder. Try browsing radio shack or mouser. Digi Key is good, too, but I think they have a $20 minimum order (correct me if I'm wrong)

$25 minimum order with a $5 service charge if your subtotal is less than that.

You know, the last time I ordered something from digikey (3 LEDs and a a low-drop 7805), I only paid like $10, though I don't think it included the shipping.
