There it is a couple days after I got it. Runs great in general, but there's a leak somewhere in the cooling system as of tonight. :| Marshall did tell me to expect to do some work on it, though! :P

Leave some newspapers on the ground under the engine overnight, that should help you find the leak. I had a similar problem when I first got my car; it turned out to be just a loose hose clamp. Usually it's something like a clamp or a small hole in a hose that causes coolant loss. As long as you don't find coolant in the oil*, the head and head gasket should be fine.

Marshall did tell me to expect to do some work on it, though! :P
Well, it is a Mitsub*tchy after all...

* We had a 1996 Buick Skylark with this problem. The aluminum cylinder head and iron block aged differently, so it blew the gasket. We replaced it, and it happened again 7 months later. Yay, GM 3.3L V6! The oil will start to look like chocolate milk if this is the case.

Nice car. Care to give any more details about it (turbo or N/A, auto or manual, etc)?

1995 3000GT. Auto, N/A. Dunno how to drive stick (yet), but I see it as an inconvenience really. Got it back from the shop, cooling system is completely fine now. :) Runs better than ever.

Thanks for the interest!
